“I often feel like I’m not good enough.”
“I don’t know how to deal with experiences from my childhood.”
“My child is withdrawn and struggling in school.”
“I am easily overwhelmed and feel like I can’t get anything done.”
I HEAr YOU.
You are not alone. It is completely normal to struggle with emotions or experiences in life. I am here to help you gain the necessary tools and skills to work through these challenges. I know beginning the therapy journey can feel a bit daunting, however I will create a safe and collaborative space where you are comfortable.
My Therapeutic Approach
I believe mental health is just as important as physical health when it comes to living happy and fulfilling lives. Central to my practice is cultivating a strong therapeutic alliance with my clients rooted in trust, empathy, and collaboration. I believe in honoring each individual's unique experiences and culture while empowering clients to take an active role in their healing journey.
I use an integrative strengths-based approach to best fit your individual needs. I incorporate aspects from different theoretical perspectives such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, existentialism, and trauma-informed care. I am committed to providing a safe and supportive space where together we can build healthy coping skills, increase positivity, grow self-worth, and overcome past traumas.
To see if we are a good fit, you can email, call/text me, or fill out this form to schedule your free 15-minute phone consultation. I look forward to meeting you.
more about me:
I was born and raised in Golden, Colorado. I moved to the Washington, D.C. area for graduate school and lived there for 10 years before returning back to beautiful Colorado. I found my passion for counseling after my high school psychology class. From that day on, I have pursued psychology and clinical mental health counseling in some form.
I am particularly passionate about working with children and young adults. Outside of therapy, you can find me spending time with my dogs, hunting for hidden gems in thrift stores and estate sales, or watching the latest true crime documentary.
