“I can’t seem to figure out what’s getting in the way of fulfilling my dreams.”
“I experience so much conflict in my relationships.”
“Anxiety keeps me from living the life I want.”
“My emotions confuse me and make life hard.”
I Hear You.
I understand, life can feel daunting, confusing, and unfair. The path toward empowerment, purpose, and well-being is only a step away. You have the power to create the life you want for yourself, and I’ll be there to help you begin the journey. I am deeply committed to supporting you.
“There is nothing more important to true growth than realizing that you are not the voice of the mind - you are the one who hears it,” - Michael A Singer
My Therapeutic Approach
In my therapeutic approach, I am dedicated to fostering empowerment, self-efficacy, and fulfillment in every individual I work with. Guided by compassion, my practice is rooted in a journey toward wholeness, where clients are supported in exploring their inner strengths and capacities. As an eternal student of life, I firmly believe that learning is a lifelong journey.
Drawing from a diverse range of modalities, I integrate Eastern contemplative mindfulness practices, Hakomi body-centered mindfulness, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Each modality serves as a tool to facilitate deep exploration, healing, and growth. I am excited to embark on this journey with you, to listen to your story, and to collaborate on how we can nurture your personal evolution together.
To see if we are a good fit, you can email, call/text me, or fill out this form to schedule your free 15-minute phone consultation. I look forward to meeting you.
MORE ABOUT ME:
I'm Katherine, a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) based in Colorado. Originally from the picturesque Pacific Northwest, I spent my childhood immersed in lush temperate rainforests and pristine waters. In the year 2000, I moved to Durango, Colorado, drawn by the majestic mountains and captivating high desert canyons of the Southwest. Outside of my counseling practice, you can find me playing music, delving into the study of local plants, conquering mountain trails on my bike, or finding serenity through yoga. One of my greatest joys is sharing outdoor adventures with my beloved rescue pup, Noodle.
